■ About alignment of AI and IoT and PLC

 

KENKI DRYER is keep being improved by using AI and IoT technologies.
KENKI DRYER is operated by PLC, which controls machine operation by a program, and we are aiming its operation to be fully automated and the dryer to run without depending on skilled worker’s experience and intuition by adding AI program into the operation.
The AI program builds models based on estimated data to run its automatic control, and accuracy of the control is improved by the estimated data which keep changing by accumulating and utilizing more data.
In the AI automatic control, alignment with IoT remote access is very important and more accurate control becomes possible after the system start running by using data accumulated by IoT.
The first subject for integrating AI into KENKI DRYER’s operation is how to build the AI program into PLC though, by solving it, PLC can connect the AI to IoT remote access program and AI can use data accumulated by the IoT.
This enables completely automated operation which is not depending on skilled worker’s experience and intuition, and the program improves itself for more accurate automatic control day by day.
